You're way ahead of me. Mine's 20 months old and years away from his introduction to shooting sports.
Meant to say grand daughter. She's my daughter's daughter. Fun part was explaining that she wasn't big enough yet. When you're three, you think you can take on the world. Good times.
Our daughter just turned 4, and loves to play with our "ears" and hold the "guns" (with supervision, of course). We let her when she asks, and she's got the routine down of checking the chamber while Daddy holds the bolt open. She also knows which end is the business end, and to NEVER look inside that end. I can't wait for her first trip to the range!

it's in the -20's here. I've been looking at warmer pictures too wishing we could go to the range :) our middle is 3 & he was telling me last night "mommy, I want to shoot a gun." lol I'm excited for Spring so we can take our oldest again & continue teaching him.
