Agreed. These (link below) aren't $6, but much more eye appealing. Played around with them at a show but just wondering how well a magnetic mount would hold up to repeated recoil. Anyone else used/seen one?
regardless of how the mount looks you have to remember to take into account how easily it lets you operate your flashlight. if you have to take your hand off your shotgun to turn on or off your light because it sits so low beyond the pump or hand guard then its not that practical cause if you leave your flashlight on all the time the bad guy will always know where your weapon is pointed.
If you are right handed, the light should be on the left. You can operate it with your thumb. The closer the light is to the fiber optic front sight, the betterit will glow.
