I picked up a 22LR S&W model 63 yesterday as a companion to my 3-inch 357 magnum model 60. I am so stoked to be taking both out to the range tomorrow. Who won't be sweeping up any brass? This guy!

I've looked at M63s before but just couldn't make myself throw down $700+ for a 22LR revolver. Beautiful gun though.
I'm with you Mr. Smith I've been wanting a S&W .22 for a long tiime. I'm trying to decide between this one and a 317. But they are a lot of money.
@jtjacobs24 & @seedoubleyou - To be honest, I have long coveted the M63 but felt $700 was too much as well. I was in my local FFL handling a used S&W m317 and a new 22LR SP101 from Ruger; both costing about $500. When I saw the new m63 in the case, I asked the salesman to pull it out as well. The moment I saw that it had a price tag of $639, I realized I would never see that price every again so I snatched it up. If you're looking for a high quality 22LR revolver and don't mind a heavy trigger for double action, I strongly recommend that you check out the SP101. It is a very nice revolver. Both the m63 and SP101 should outlive their original owner too (something a cheaper Taurus probably won't do).
