I love this idea, but the VG2 has some advantages over this. I hope RCS comes out with a similar item with those specific design features soon. I am a fanboy for sure, but this is a great early design.
@jtgarner what advantages do you see in the VG2? Thanks in advance for your feedback man.
Justin - please elaborate. Put your fanboyism aside and educate us on the merits of the VG2 advantages. Have you carried a VG2? I have. Tell us how it's superior, or is that just typical RCS fanboy logic?
Interesting
@monderno thanks for sharing the X-FER on gunway. If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask.
Booth... Good to see you on here. -Paul
Sorry for the delayed response guys, I was out of town for the weekend. I have carried in a VG2 (I have had one since about March or so) and am carrying in one right now. The VG2 has a tuckable strut which makes it easier to conceal with dressier clothes. The VG2 also has a rivet at the end of it which can be used with 550 chord in place of the soft loop, but it can also be attached to the inside of a bag, drawer, or vehicle to keep the trigger protected but also allow for a fast draw. If this setup just had the rivet at the end for the 550 cord lanyard I would buy one right now! I have a weapon light on my nightstand gun and would love something to cover the trigger guard but come off easy. I am not knocking on this product at all, I think it is a great start, I just look forward to one that has a lanyard rivet and maybe a tuckable strut.
I am not saying that the VG2 is a replacement or even a substitute for this, as they are obviously serve different purposes.
:) I am an RCS Fanboy, but that doesn't mean that I can't appreciate other great gear ideas :)
Thanks for the feedback @jtgarner
