I've never been a fan of James Yeager. Remember, Tex (I just F'ing shot myself) Grebner, he's a James Yeager grad and highly recommends his classes. Should tell you something.

Clint Gardner @polygon

I don't think that's really fair. I'm sure he shot himself because he was doing something he was taught not to. Cause' I know he teaches the same gun safety as everyone else.

Don @quack

But saying that the photographer in the video i posted is safe? I don't know any trainers in the classes i've taken that would call the above video safe.

Candace @candace

I don't see what James Yeager had to so with it. You can teach a dumbass all the gun safety you know but in the end, he is still a dumbass.

Don @quack

Candace, the Tex part is a coincidence and was for fun, but the photographer in the video above is James' and here is a quote from James "putting someone infront of the firing line makes people safer"

TIm Baker @freelanzr

And the idiot does not even have on body armor...not that it would do any good as his head is at trajectory level...I shoot live fire footage, but would never even think about doing this...pure stupidity.

Joshua Howley @jehowley

After watching some of his vids I cringe when I see/hear people talk about him.

Candace @candace

Ha! I didn't see that.

RangeDevServices @gunrange

What's amazing is that not a one of the people on the firing line objected to this absurdity.

Jeremy Kleinjan @moidski

Where are the hits on target for the two firing next to the photo guy? Also don't see any dirt kicking up for the one on the right.

Don @quack

10 seconds in you can see the gun cycle with guy to the left of the photographer and about 30 seconds in you can see the guy on the right shooting (smoke and recoil)

Don @quack

and at the last 2-3 seconds you can see the gun cycling with the guy on the right

Don @quack

~20 seconds in if you look over the photographers right shoulder, you can see dirt kicked up from the shooter on the right shooting.

Jeremy Kleinjan @moidski

I don't really see it but that may be do to resolution on my screen... Jackassery for sure tho.

Jeremy Kleinjan @moidski

Ok I see dirt to the far right... Just not from the shooters immediately adjacent the cameraman.
