Did a little more work on the GP100 today. The factory pull was over 11#'s. Got it down to 9#'s with factory parts. Then 7.5# with using Wilson Combat springs. Then today I did a little more de-burring and polished the trigger & hammer on the bench polisher.

I want the GP-161(blued 6"). My dad use to have the 7.5" Super Redhawk in 44. I was mad when I found out he sold it. Other than the old Colt Pythons, Rugers in my opinion are among the best revolvers.(Not a big S&W fan)

Hokie @hokie

Can't wait to shoot it again now that you brought the trigger down.

Don @quack

I chose the GP-100 over the 686 because the GP100 felt better that the S&W's that were at the shop.

@hokie, yeah, maybe you can shoot it DA this time. At least it's not an autoloader because the SA is under 2#'s now, and i know how you like to double when using light triggers. ROR

I got light primer strikes when mine was around 8. Not a lot but, usually during a match. I bumped it back up to around 9. The more you shoot it the better the trigger gets.
