Rock River Arms (RRA) is back in the 1911 business, and the company's new 1911 Poly is the latest polymer-frame 1911 pistol to be introduced by various companies during the past 20 years or so. It has a few new touches, but it's a real chip off the RRA block in terms of performance.

it's not a ful polymer lower like a Glock/XD/XDm/M&P, but it has a steel upper frame with a polymer cover. if you look at the photo above, you can see the polymer cover if you look at the serial number. The RRA Poly that i handled isn't built like the RRA 1911's of the past, the Poly's build quality is similar to the looser Springfield Loaded's that are made in Brazil.

forgot to add that the RRA poly is still a single stack.

Man, their 1911s were so nice. Why not just bring them back. Bummer.
