Why can't this happen to me????

www.foxnews.com

Paul Mountcastle @mentalscout

Only a ninny would call the cops....

Kevin T. Riley @dac1701

# 1 The package doesn't look like a flat screen TV.
# 2 Did he check to see if it was ADDRESSED to him?
#3 He should have called UPS to pick up without opening at all.
# 4 And if you're going to open someone else's package, don't call the media and post pictures.
# 5 He's lucky it wasn't shipped via USPS. They'd bust him for opening someone else's mail.

To answer Paul:

1. Dude lives in Washington DC. Probably not in touch with reality.

2. Dude's a "musician". Probably not in touch with reality.

3. Dude opened a package that obviously wasn't what he ordered, and then called the cops instead of UPS. Probably not in touch with reality.

Karl @karl

According to the article it sounds like the shipping label was switched at UPS.

Jaime Cross @jaimecr

dude paid $324 for a tv, got a gun that sells for up to $1,800, calls cops and loses his money AND the gun. Definately not in touch with reality...

Iblis @iblis

USP has got some 'splaining to do.
