Why don't we run linear regression analyses and determine the how good the correlation is here :)? Louisiana has the most gun deaths but not even in the top ten in weak gun laws?
Cum hoc ergo propter hoc. "Correlation proves causation" is the logical fallacy here.
Can we try to examine the cause of gun deaths in each state?
Am I really supposed to believe that I am safer in Chicago than in Boise?
Great point with your Latin phrase. A common problem for many, seems like that way of thinking always pops up.
I think one of the biggest questions that no one ever asks is this: Why is safety the most important part of life? I for one and happier, more myself as a human and more adventurous when I am honest of the threat of danger and I respond to it, rather than fool myself into a safe complacency and hope that nothing bad ever happens.
In reading the news we link to, and seeing the responses on Twitter to our feed, it should amaze me at how far the minority will go to try to make the majority believe they are the minority. But nothing amazes me after the 2008 election anymore. Both with the media and the people who believe and try to recite the crap that is out there...
I, for one, support gun control. However, not for the typical reasons. I wish Uncle Sam would go ahead and make firearms illegal. Sometimes the only way to get the cows (lazy gun supporters) is to prod them . Maybe a law that radical would actually encourage Americans to take back their rights.....Nah, I'm only kidding myself.
Wow. They're going hard with the propaganda.

Sick of the "silent majority" sitting back and doing nothing and keeping their mouths shut...start speaking out!
What a lie Herr Gobles
