Sorry to hear that. I know a TON of people that would beg to differ. No problems with mine. The only Colt 1911 that I would want would be a Series 70, and it would get sent over to someone like Harrison or Burton be reworked more or less leaving the frame and slide, so it wouldn't be much more than a name on the slide. YMMV
Seriously? We've been able to buy the 1911 for the past 100 years. If you want designer colors and other custom touches it cost more money that's all.
