The Denver Post is reporting that background checks for people wanting to buy guns in the state have jumped more than 41% after Friday's horrific events.

41%? Awesome! Sounds like maybe people are starting to get it....

They also are saying that firearms classes are booked for at least 3 weeks and that's the first time this year that has happened.

thats a shame that it takes a tragedy for people to be educated... i guess it takes extreme measures to get extreme action.
