I finally got my hands on one of these yesterday at Cabela's. I must say it's no joke, it's light. I thought it would be a little lighter than the standard 22/45 but it's not. It's a lot lighter. I also didn't know, but the grips are replaceable. And of course, the threaded barrel. Must have!
I saw it was only around $300 too. not bad at all. I want to hold one! lol
I was surprised to see one there. I was there to see if they had the Vaquero, which they did. And then I saw this and decided to check it out at the same time. If you have a Cabela's I'd see if they have one. I never buy them there, but they sure do have a selection.
nope, ours is way too far away. we're in the middle of nowhere lol but we can get one ordered through our gunsmith for a great price i'm sure.
I bought my Smith 22a a few months before this was released. I wish I knew this was coming out. I love everything about this gun.
Great looking gun and breaks down very easily. Good gun to learn on prior to stepping up to a 1911 in 45 or 10mm
heck I'll order it with my 1911 lol I wish :) I do want a 10mm. but then... what don't I want lol
I know the feeling. I already have a 1911 in ,45 ACP and I'll say that the 22/45 isn't the exact same grip style but it's close. I do want a 10mm and I know i'll have more than one 1911. Anyhow, Bud's just got these back in stock and I splurged and bought it. Now I have two guns on the way. Off to buy a suppressor for it.
I have the other 22/45 that has replaceable grips and I put full size on them with a little mod for the slide release now it really feels like a 1911 and it handles better also.
